"Carson is actually a pseudonym selected by an artist wishing to acknowledge her paintings in this uniquely expressionist style.
Whether I’m capturing an autumn stroll through the park, a sunlit afternoon in an English country garden or a group of couples enjoying a ballroom dance in the 1920s, my work always tells a charming story.
The artist is practised in a variety of media in the traditional fine arts, including oils, acrylics and watercolours. Each generous brushstroke forms character and mystery, creating a welcome invitation to join in the merriment of such holidays. The drama of each piece suggests a dauntless yet subtle hand behind the curtain, much like the demeanour of the artist both confident and refined.
Sadly, the artist known as Carson died in 2008."
